Jotun Australia commenced operations in its own right in Australia in 1990. We have found success in the Australian market due primarily to our philosophy of working together with customers to provide solutions to corrosion problems and our ability to provide the latest in leading edge coatings technology.
Local manufacturing is done in Brooklyn, Victoria where both NATA accredited laboratories and APAS recognised production facilities operate, including full technical service facilities. The Australian research and development department is primarily concerned with developing local products and the introduction of new global technology.
Jotun Australia maintain offices and distribution centres in Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Launceston, Melbourne, Newcastle, Perth, Sydney and Traralgon. There is also a close working relationship with a growing network of independent distributors who are strategically placed in major industrial centres to provide fast, reliable service and sound technical assistance as required.
Jotun Australia is able to draw on vast worldwide experience to provide technical assistance and coating recommendations in the areas of Mining, Smelting, Chemical, Petrochemical, Offshore, Water, Sewerage and in fact, all industries where corrosion problems are found.
One of Jotun’s primary objectives is to have all of its worldwide companies accredited to ISO 9000. The local operation has achieved certification to AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000.
