SOLVER PAINTS

Solver Paints

Our homes reflect us, they tell the world about us. They are our security, our base and our comfort zone. Colour is emotive and colour is what we at Solver are all about.

This season's palette ranges from the stunning 'new' whites – clean crisp Studio White and Misty White – to the more stoney shades – Moon Dust, Lillium or Bleached Silk. While the strong colours are still defining spaces and adding impact as feature walls, their vibrancy has moved from primary to more muted tones – from Narcissus to Bravo (this colour works brilliantly for some of the retro-inspired schemes when combined with black and white or the orange-based Liquid Daylight and warm golden wood tones.

Reds and pinks have evolved into berry shades like Rouge Hommé and Tiger Rose to warm up the whites and are very easy to live and decorate with; they work well with the deep wood browns being used in kitchens and furniture.

Still in the rich tones theme, warm browns – Mink or Tobacco – are a versatile decorating option working equally well with soft whites, like Intermezzo, in a traditional setting or the natural shades of Raw Silk and white-washed timber in a more modern application.

One of the pleasures of living in Australia is the fusion between outdoor and indoor living spaces. To enhance the seamless flow, look to further than our green palette form Soft Moyne and Lazy Days to the depth of Shade Garden or Christmas Ivy warmed up with Rusty Nail or Red Amber.

Blue is the world’s most popular colour and with good reason. In all its hues from pale Nursery Blue to the vibrant Bermuda, people respond positively to blue. For something a little different, experiment with blue-greens: Solver Teal teamed with sandy neutrals, Ocean Beach or Driftwood, with the lighter timbers beech or ash.

The colours mentioned are just a few of our extensive range of colour options – so if you’re looking for inspiration, we’ll see you at Solver!
